Green Gas Cluster is a co-operation between a number of companies, research institutions and public partners. The cluster has emerged from initiatives from three existing innovation networks supported by the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation, namely the Innovation Network for Biomass (INBIOM), The Renewable Energy Innovation Network (VE-Net) and The Transport Innovation Network. Green Gas Cluster is supported economically by Central Denmark Region.
The aim of the cluster is to create growth and knowledgebased jobs in a completely new cleantech business by creating a professionel business cluster located in the Central Denmark Region. Focus is on activities for the industry and demonstrations of a number of specific investments in technologies for upgrading and methanisation of biogas.
The project partners are: HMN Naturgas, Skive Municipality, Lemvig Municipality, BioenergiVest, Ammongas, Danish Gas Technology Centre, The Transport Innovation Network (TINV), The Renewable Energy Innovation Network (Ve-Net), Danish Technological Institute, Agro Business Park and Aarhus University.
